Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-level Software Engineer located in Latam and with DevOps expertise to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while incorporating DevOps principles for streamlined development, deployment, and operational efficiency. Your primary focus will be to optimize our software systems and pipelines while ensuring high availability, performance, and security in our applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET/7/8 applications with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Implement and manage Azure-based infrastructure using Bicep, ARM templates, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient integration of software features and operational practices.
• Develop secure and scalable solutions using serverless and containerized technologies, such as Azure Functions and Azure Container Instances (ACI).
• Monitor application performance and system health using DevOps tools and practices to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

Technical skills: 

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, DevOps, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, with practical experience deploying and managing cloud-native solutions.
• Proficiency in .NET/7/8 development, including API design, microservices, and system scalability.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates, Bicep, and IaC tools.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and automation testing frameworks.
• Deep understanding of SQL databases and database optimization for performance.
• Familiarity with containerized architectures using Docker and Azure Container Instances (ACI).

Soft skills: 

• Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent understanding of development processes and agile methodologies.
• Analytic, flexible, adaptive, highly motivated, and able to learn quickly.

Bonus skills: 

• Knowledge of cost management and monitoring tools on Azure, such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate) are a plus.
