Job Description:
The Product Owner will set the product vision and strategy, with a sharp focus on delivering value to our users. This individual will act as the primary liaison between the stakeholders and the development team to ensure the team's efforts align with the company's goals. The Product Owner will prioritize the product backlog, define user stories, and set clear objectives for product development cycles. By closely monitoring market trends and customer feedback, the Product Owner will guide the product through its lifecycle, ensuring it meets quality standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of business acumen, a deep understanding of market dynamics, a strong technical understanding, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage the product's roadmap and contribute to its success.
Responsibilities:
Product Development and Management:
- Define and prioritize product backlog items based on business and customer impact.
- Work closely with stakeholders to create and maintain a product vision and roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication of product requirements and timelines.
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Regularly interact with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and align product development accordingly.
- Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and product demos to gain insights for continuous product improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in digital experience-related products.
- Proven ability to drive the entire software development cycle, from conceptualization to product launch and beyond.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated market research and competitive analysis capabilities.
- A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
Bonus skills:
- Specific experience in data analysis is a big plus.
- Any certification in Project Management or Product Management is a plus.
Soft skills:
- Great communication and team collaboration.
- Attention to detail.
- Organization skills.
- Flexible and adaptable.
