Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager & Quality Assurance Specialist located in Latam to lead software development projects while ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the development lifecycle. This hybrid role combines strategic project management with hands-on quality assurance activities, making it ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can balance big-picture project coordination with meticulous quality control. The successful candidate will serve as the bridge between development teams, stakeholders, and end-users, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and monitor software development projects from initiation to closureDevelop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analystsManage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide regular project status updates
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
• Lead project meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.

Quality Assurance: 

• Design and implement comprehensive QA strategies and testing frameworks.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and testing procedures for software applications.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
• Establish and maintain quality metrics, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes.
• Perform risk-based testing and prioritize testing activities.

Qualifications

Technical skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software project management.
• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and defect management processes.

Soft skills: 

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Bonus skills: 

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
