Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect, with DevOps expertise to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and overseeing the implementation of robust, scalable solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies. This role emphasizes creating architectural blueprints, optimizing cloud environments, and fostering the adoption of DevOps practices across teams. The Solutions Architect collaborates with stakeholders, development teams, and operations to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals while maintaining high standards of scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Define and Develop Architectural Strategy:
Create detailed architecture blueprints and technical roadmaps that align with business objectives and project goals.
Establish frameworks and standards for software, cloud, and infrastructure architecture using Microsoft technologies such as Azure and .NET.
Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to align architectural solutions with organizational goals.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to bridge communication gaps and ensure successful solution implementation.
Ensure Scalability and Resilience:
Design cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure services, ensuring scalability, high availability, and cost efficiency.
Oversee the architecture of systems with a strong focus on security, performance, and fault tolerance.
Promote DevOps Practices:
Advocate for and guide teams in adopting DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Define best practices for deployment processes, automation, and monitoring to achieve operational excellence.
Technical Leadership:
Provide guidance to teams on technical decisions, frameworks, and tools to ensure quality and alignment with architectural goals.
Mentor and coach development and DevOps teams to elevate technical skills and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Risk Management and Governance:
Assess risks, constraints, and trade-offs in proposed solutions and ensure alignment with technical and business priorities.
Enforce compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications
Technical skills:
10+ years of professional experience as a technical leader, solutions architect, development leader, or similar.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in designing and architecting large-scale, enterprise-level solutions using Microsoft technologies.
Proven expertise in Azure cloud architecture, including services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure SQL.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and containerization.
Comprehensive knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and scalability strategies.
Deep experience with solution design, including evaluating trade-offs between technical requirements, costs, and timelines.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, ensuring alignment with architectural goals and standards.
Familiarity with governance, cost optimization, and security best practices in cloud environments.
Excellent communication skills to interact with executive stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.
Soft skills:
Strong ability to set technical direction and influence decision-making across teams.
Capacity to evaluate complex systems and craft innovative solutions.
Openness to exploring emerging technologies and best practices.
Collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders.
Bonus skills:
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Familiarity with enterprise-scale identity and access management solutions (e.g., Azure AD).
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly desirable.
