Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure, located in Latam, to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure and delivering robust DevOps solutions. Your primary focus will be to optimize our software development and deployment process while ensuring the high availability and scalability of our applications.

Responsibilities:   

• Design and implement scalable DevOps solutions using Azure services. 
• Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, databases, and networking resources. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable applications. 
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools. 
• Develop and implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues. 
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in Azure environments. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues. 8. Mentor and guide junior team members in DevOps best practices. 
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical incidents.

Qualifications

Experience:

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on Azure. 
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure services, including but not limited to Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking, App Services, SQL Server, and Key Vault.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. 
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies and tools like Azure Pipelines or Jenkins.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Ansible. 
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in Azure environments. 
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus skills: 

• Microsoft Azure certifications, such as AZ-400: Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions or AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator.
