Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning/Data Science Engineer in LATAM to develop a first-pass real estate lead scoring model. You’ll own the full ML lifecycle—from data extraction to deploying a retrainable model—helping the business prioritize high-intent real estate leads.

Responsibilities:

• Data Engineering:
  -Extract lead data from data sources (e.g., BigQuery).
  -Clean and engineer features (e.g., lead source, price bands).
  -Build reproducible, version-controlled pipelines.
• Model Development:
  -Conduct AutoML sweeps using Vertex AI or SageMaker.
  -Manually refine and benchmark models on recent leads.
  -Present feature importance and tune thresholds with business stakeholders.
• Delivery & Handoff:
  -Package model artifacts, notebooks, and retraining jobs.
  -Create a clear run-book for future retrains and model extensions.

Qualifications:

Technical skills: 

• 5+ years applying supervised ML on tabular data with Python & SQL.
• Experience with BigQuery and Vertex AI or SageMaker AutoML.
• Strong data engineering hygiene (version control, reproducibility).
• Ability to explain model trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of GCP tools

Soft skills:

• Self-starter who can unblock access and deliver independently.

Bonus skills:

• Experience with lead scoring or conversion models.
• Exposure to real estate or mortgage datasets.
