Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Paid Media Expert based in Latam to lead and optimize our paid advertising efforts, primarily on Google Ads. This individual will be responsible for designing and executing campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes and contribute to growth initiatives across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute paid media strategy, primarily across Google Ads, while also exploring and optimizing campaigns on additional platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Set up, manage, and continuously optimize campaigns — from audience segmentation to bidding strategies and creative iteration.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify gaps, trends, and new opportunities.
- Develop campaign strategies from scratch, translating goals into actionable paid media plans with clear execution steps.
- Collaborate closely with design and production teams to guide the creation of high-performing creative assets. Act as the “ads expert” at the table, offering insight into formats and messaging that convert.
- Lead conversion tracking strategy — define what’s needed, guide implementation (with support from devs or technical teams), and validate performance instrumentation.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, conversion rate, ROI, and on-site behavior, using insights to refine strategies.
- Champion a test-and-learn approach, continuously proposing and running experiments to optimize performance.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, industry trends, and evolving best practices in paid media.
Qualifications
Technical skills:
- Strong experience in paid advertising, with a focus on Google Ads, but familiarity with other channels as well.
- Proven track record in setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns across platforms.
- Skilled in market and competitive research to identify new opportunities.
- Able to take a subject or goal and develop a campaign strategy from scratch — clear process for execution.
- Collaborates well with design and production teams to develop effective creative assets. Should be able to bring an “ads expert” perspective to these convos, sharing insights on what media formats perform best.
- Leads the setup and instrumentation of conversion tracking. While they don’t need to implement the technical side directly, they must know what needs to be done and why.
- Highly analytical mindset. Data should inform strategy and ongoing optimization, including metrics like traffic, click-through-rate, conversion rate, and on-site events.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment; able to iterate and adapt quickly.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Brings an experimentation-driven mindset to continually test, learn, and refine campaigns.

- Strong time management skills and the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities.
- Self-starter comfortable in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Growth-minded, curious, and experimentation-driven.
Bonus skills:
- Bonus points for experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) — ideally, they can implement or at least review and validate tracking setups.
- Familiarity with advanced attribution models and analytics tools.
- Hands-on experience reviewing or implementing tagging strategies.
