Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer with expertise in PHP, Laravel, WordPress, and CRM to join our dynamic team. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a CRM system built on top of SugarCRM and PHP/Laravel as well as websites using WordPress. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including architecture, themes/UI, and integrations (APIs, 3-parties, libraries).

Responsibilities:   

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Build and maintain scalable and efficient back-end systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Develop RESTful APIs for system integration and front-end communication.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed to extend application functionality.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality web applications.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the continuous improvement of the codebase.

Qualifications

Experience:

Technical skills: 

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
• Proficiency in WordPress and MySQL.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with automated testing tools like PHPUnit and familiarity with TDD/BDD.

Soft skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Strong time management skills and ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.

Bonus skills: 

• Experience with a CRM built on top of PHP technology (e.g., SugarCRM, SuiteCRM).
• Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of security best practices in web development (e.g., OWASP).
