Job Description:

We're seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst located in Latin America to join our international team and help us collect, integrate, and transform data from multiple internal and external sources to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights. In this position, you will analyze historical and real-time data to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and support data-driven decision-making across departments.

The ideal candidate will excel at designing dashboards, creating automated reports, and presenting complex data in clear and accessible formats for stakeholders at all levels. You will work closely with teams such as Finance, Sales, and Engineering to understand business needs, ensure data integrity, and provide recommendations that drive performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:   

Data Collection and Integration:

• Collect data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Combine and cleanse data from different systems to create a unified data set.
• Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to ensure accurate data transformation.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze historical data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
• Provide on-demand reports and analysis to support decision-making in different departments.
  

Report Generation and Visualization:

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI
• Present complex data in clear and actionable formats, including charts, graphs, and reports.
• Develop automated reports that provide updated information to stakeholders regularly.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Collaborate with various departments like Finance, Sales, and Engineering to identify BI needs and ensure data solutions meet business objectives.
• Understand the specific data and reporting needs of different stakeholders.
• Offer insights and data-driven recommendations to improve business performance or operational efficiency.

Maintaining Data Integrity and Security:

• Ensure that all data and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
• Make sure data handling follows relevant data privacy laws.
• Perform regular data audits to maintain data quality and integrity. 

Process Optimization:

• Identify areas where data processes can be optimized, automated, or improved.
• Recommend or implement BI tools to improve the data analysis and reporting process.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. 
• 3+ years of proven experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Analytics roles, preferably in Finance or Sales-driven environments.
• Experience in managing ETL processes and integrating data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Demonstrated success in building interactive dashboards, automated reports, and visualizations for cross-functional stakeholders.

Soft skills:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and shareholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in business matters.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written). 

Bonus skills: 

• Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Data Analytics certifications) is a plus.
